A new chapter is beginning at UR Community Cares!
We are thrilled to announce several key updates to our leadership team as we continue our mission of connecting neighbors and supporting aging in place across our communities.

Meet Our New Board President: Erica Weida
We are proud to introduce Erica Weida as the new President of the Board of Directors. For those who have been part of the UR Community Cares family for a while, Erica is a familiar face. She has served with distinction as our Treasurer for the past three years, providing the steady financial stewardship that has allowed our organization to grow and thrive.
Erica brings over 30 years of experience from the insurance industry, with a deep background in data analytics, IT systems development, and strategic program management. Her ability to navigate complex systems while remaining focused on community impact makes her the perfect leader to guide us into this next phase of growth. We are excited to see her transition from managing the books to leading the vision!

Welcoming Our New Treasurer: Brad Petty
With Erica moving into the President’s role, we are excited to welcome Brad Petty (Bradley Matthew Petty) as our new Treasurer. Brad is the Founder and Principal of BP CFO Services LLC and brings more than 15 years of experience as a Fractional CFO helping high-growth organizations scale.
As a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Brad combines executive financial expertise with a disciplined, results-driven approach. His skills will be invaluable in ensuring UR Community Cares remains financially healthy and transparent as we expand our reach to more towns and residents.

Continuity in Leadership: Chris Kelly
We are also pleased to confirm that Chris Kelly (Christine Kelly) remains a vital part of our executive leadership. Chris is a Registered Nurse and a highly accomplished healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience in administration and consulting.
Chris joined our board in 2022, inspired by her personal experience caring for her parents. Her deep understanding of the healthcare landscape and her passion for helping citizens maintain their dignity and independence at home continue to be a cornerstone of our organization’s strategy.

We are grateful to our growing board members: Ram Kaza, Jim Lovkay, Missy Cipriano, Natacha Campbell, Ed Sambuco and our newest member, Asmita Aasaavari.

Looking Ahead
Under this energized leadership team, UR Community Cares remains more committed than ever to “filling the gaps” in home-based support. Whether it’s through our digital literacy programs at the UR Community Tech Center, accessibility with UR Vision and Hearing Resources, recreation with Cycling Without Age Manchester, or our core mission of connecting volunteers with those in need, we are building a stronger, more connected community together in our Neighbors Helping Neighbors program.

Please join us in congratulating Erica and Brad on their new roles and thanking Chris for her continued dedication!
Shared goals of community kindness support,
