UR Vision Station

UR Community Cares created UR Vision Station for blind and low vision people who can come to use and demo our devices with guidance from our volunteers.

Assistive Device Products Available for Demonstration:

  • Eschenbach Products: Optaro with stand, Magnifiers-video, handheld, pocket, monoculars, glasses, etc.
  • NV Access on our laptop: To provide a free screen reader for blind and vision-impaired people, and enhance accessibility.
  • Ray-Ban Meta glasses: They include two cameras, open-ear speakers, a microphone, and a touchpad built into the frame.
  • IPAD, CCTV’s and Much More!! Call us if you would like to loan out a CCTV.

Call us to make an appointment. We have over 50 items for you to try out and decide which will work best for you.

We go to low vision support groups, libraries, senior centers, companies to show them products that may be useful to people who are low vision or blind.
