Get the Help You Need — Right at Home

Staying independent in your own home is powerful, and sometimes, all you need is a little extra support. As a Community Member in the Neighbors Helping Neighbors Community Deeds program, you can request friendly, reliable assistance from trained Volunteers who care about your well-being.

Whether you’re over 70 or an adult with a temporary or permanent disability, our goal is to help you stay safe, comfortable, and confident at home.

How Scheduling Works

When you schedule a Community Deed, you choose:

  • The services you would like help with
  • The days and times you are available

We do our best to match you with Volunteers whose schedules align with yours.
The more flexible you can be, the sooner a Volunteer may be able to assist you.

Services Volunteers Can Provide

Our Volunteers can help with everyday tasks that may be difficult or risky for you to do alone, such as:

  • Housework
  • Yardwork
  • Light chores
  • Simple household tasks
  • And more, depending on Volunteer availability

These services can help you stay safe, reduce the risk of falls, avoid lifting heavy items, and make daily life a bit easier.

Why Become a Community Member?

Community Members often tell us how much they enjoy the visits as much as the help. Having a Volunteer stop by can:

  • Improve your mood
  • Reduce stress
  • Make your home safer
  • Help you stay organized
  • Give you peace of mind knowing you have caring neighbors looking out for you

You deserve support and we’re here to make sure you never feel alone in managing everyday tasks.

Please sign up today and let us help make life safer and more enjoyable at home.
