Eye Health Fair Wrap Up

EYE HEALTH FAIR RESULTS

We talked with people with a variety of conditions, here were some examples from our small survey group at our Eye Health Fair:

  • Visual Impairments: Blind, Visually Impaired, Low Vision, Deaf with Low Vision
  • Corrective Lenses: Glasses, Contacts, Glasses/Contacts, no glasses, some had 20/20 vision
  • Refractive Errors: Farsighted, Nearsighted, Astigmatism (correctable, has 20/20 vision)
  • Age-Related Changes: Age-related eye changes, glasses, no restrictions for driving
  • Eye Diseases and Conditions:
  • Cataracts: Cataracts, Cataract surgery
  • Glaucoma: Glaucoma
  • Retinal Issues: Retina detachments, Retina, Blood Clots, CRVD (Central Retinal Vein Occlusion)
  • Macular Degeneration: Severe Dry Eye, Macular Degeneration
  • Other Conditions: LCA (Leber Congenital Amaurosis), Retinitis Pigmentosa
