Our session focused on the latest information regarding posture and fall prevention. Shawn addressed common balance concerns faced by Parkinson’s patients, including the risks associated with festinating gait and tripping hazards. He demonstrated and discussed the benefits of physical therapy, and he provided practical prevention techniques to help reduce the risk of falls.
